DESIGN AND ENGINEERING

Nautek Marine can take care of all your electrical systems design requirements. We design simple high current DC systems for sailboats all the way up to full navigation, communication and entertainment systems for yachts up to 120 feet.  We provide full documentation including installation manuals and electrical diagrams (AutoCad and PDF format). Diagrams to be used in China are drawn in a pictorial format for ease of interpretation without being able to read English.  We will work with you to put together a system that suits your needs. We specialize in navigation equipment integration. We design systems with safety in mind where redundancy is built in.

In today’s vessels, communication  plays an increasingly important role.  Owners need to be in contact with the office, equipment needs to be updated weather information needs to be updated. The communication system needs to be designed so that you can connect using different interfaces usually Wifi, cell and satellite but do so in such a way that it can be controlled by the owner. For example you don’t want to be communicating over satellite when Wi-Fi is available at the marina and the same goes for cellular. We can design a system that is seamless so that you can switch to whichever is available and the most cost effective.

We also build and design our own computers with built in NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and network connections to reduce wire clutter. Our computers are fanless so they are quiet and are made to the highest standards available using military grade components.

We also have a monitor touchscreen controller in the works. Our innovative 7” touchscreen will allow you to control your monitors (only works with our in house monitors) You can control all aspects of your display, turn it on, control dimming, change what inputs are used. You could for example, if you have four monitors send the plotter image to display 1 your radar to display 2 your computer to display 3 and Satellite TV to display 3 you could even send the plotter image to a TV located elsewhere  on the vessel for example the master stateroom or saloon.
